REM Group has created the REM EMS App, a cutting-edge energy management system designed to optimize building energy costs in real time. Developed in collaboration with RisingStack Engineering/Meloditech, the app combines live sensor data, weather forecasts, energy prices, and exchange rates to predict the cheapest heating method—gas or electricity—hour by hour. Using advanced analytics and machine learning, it automatically selects the most cost-effective option. Built with Python and PostgreSQL, and paired with intuitive dashboards, the system empowers facility managers to reduce energy bills and boost sustainability with data-driven decisions—all in real time.
